Friends: It gives me great pleasure to invite you to the 9th Asian Regional Congress Headache (ARCH2022) . This stand-alone ARCH2022 will be a two-day VIRTUAL access to all who are interested in headache disorders.
The Asian Regional Consortium of Headache (ARCH) is the key professional organization for healthcare providers and researchers interested in headache medicine in Asia and Oceania. The establishment of ARCH has had a significant impact to the exchange of thoughts about headache disorders in Asia, where nearly two thirds of the world population live.
We are delighted to offer you an interesting scientific programme with large number of global and local experts with ample amount regional representation speaking on diverse topics.

Dr. Ravishankar is Consultant In-charge of The Headache and Migraine Clinics
at Jaslok and Lilavati Hospitals, Mumbai, India. He had his formal Training in ‘Headache Medicine’ at The Houston Headache Clinic and The City of London Migraine Clinic. He had been on The Board of Trustees of The International Headache Society. (IHS) from 2008-2011.
He was the recipient of a Special Recognition Award at IHC-2013 in Boston and has been honored with Life Membership of the IHS. He is currently Chair of The Asian Regional Consortium for Headache (ARCH).
He is a Member of The American Headache Society (AHS), is on The Editorial Board of ‘Headache Currents’ and is a Reviewer for ‘Cephalalgia’ and
‘Headache’ He is Co-Editor of the book ‘Modern Day Management of
Headache Q and A format and has written more than 87 scientific articles and contributed to 12 book Chapters. He was recently honored with a Life Time Achievement Award 2022 by The Headache Co-operative of New England (HCNE) at Boston. He is a regular Invited Speaker at various national and international platforms.

He is the inaugural recipient of a prestigious Priscilla Kincaid-Smith award, AMA, Australia,2019 for his outstanding contribution as an academic neurologist, mentor, and advocate. He is a recipient A.B. Baker Teacher Recognition award, AAN 2020, Ken Viste Advocate of the Year award, AAN 2020 USA.
Tissa is a proficient publisher and accomplished international speaker with his translational research in clinical neurology generating more than 240 publications and 168 invited presentations. He has more than 72000 citations (h- index = 72) and maintains a full-time clinical commitment as leader of the fastest growing stroke & headache service in Australia (Western Health). He established this state-of-the-art neurology service, which has been pioneering headache care in Australia since 2006. To further assist headache professionals and the community, Tissa masterminded the birth of the Australian and New Zealand Headache Society in 2014 (in collaboration with four of his colleague founder members) and birth of James Lance-Peter Goadsby Annual Migraine Oration and Symposium which is a regular ARCH event since 2020.
